So what are your plans for the weekend?

I’ve got some interesting writing projects that I need to finish, so I’ll be home quite a bit this weekend. Sunday I’m looking forward to Style Sunday @ Shu Restaurant.  A Fashion show and dinner organised by West Coast Cooler Fashion Week in support of Mencap NI. The closing bell on Belfast Fashion week is sure to be a stylish affair with fantastic food from the chefs at Shu. Looking forward to the goodie bag.

Then next week it’s allllll about the food as The NI Food and Drink show takes place at the Kings Hall – and I just can’t wait. They’ve got a fab line up of celebrity chefs including James Martin, John Torode, Rachel Allen, Simon Rimmer. Did I mention James Martin? – swoon! Next weekend 24th-26th Oct, Kings Hall Pavillion. But just before you all head off for the weekend, I’d like to share some stuff from around the web. Because let’s face it, who’s really working on a Friday afternoon – No one of course! We’re sat at our desks looking busy, but we’re secretly surfing Pinterest and Instagram.

Happy weekend everyone, make it a good one x

From the web…….

Lauren Conrad's achingly hip, drool inducing Beverly Hills penthouse. Lauren Conrad is my complete girl crush, I would die for that closet. This website is great for peeking into celebrities homes.

Another one from 3 New Ways to Add Fall Style to Your Front Porch. I know, I know, we don’t style our porches here in Belfast but I think we should. And we should talk about ‘Fall’ and ‘pumpkin patches’ and embrace fall décor.

From my fav luxury travel blog 10 ‘can’t miss’ rooftop bars around the world. Sky Bar, Bangkok – Yikes. Someday I hope to.

And somthing to warm you up should this stinky weather continue. Butternut squash soup recipe from my favourite foodies Todd Porter & Diane Cu.

And finally, Happy Friday from Megan Hess.

Thanks for reading, Jackie.
